Located on the eastern edge of Thredbo Village, The Eastern is a boutique accommodation offering made up of two architecturally designed cabins – crafted with the modern, design-savvy traveller in mind. Our task was to develop a brand identity that felt minimal yet clever, something that would resonate with a sophisticated audience seeking style, comfort, and a strong sense of place. The branding plays on subtle cues: the exaggerated spacing between the words draws focus to the east, while the degree symbol serves as a quiet nod to the property’s unique location. It’s a refined identity that mirrors the essence of the cabins themselves – purposeful, elevated, and effortlessly elegant.
